1. OBJECT
The
term 'client' refers to a legal entity or an individual
person, who places an order for goods on
www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk.
The term 'goods' or 'products' refers to all articles,
whatever the type, which have been ordered by the
customer, after an offer for sale made on http://www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk
, and which conform with the present general conditions.
This contract concerns goods sold on the Faces and
Places Gifts web site, and is made between http://www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk
and the customer, within the framework of a mail order
system.
2.
ORDERS MADE ON THE WEBSITE
All orders made on the web site assume the unreserved
compliance of the customer to the present General
Conditions. These conditions can be seen by clicking on
Sales Conditions, with the help of a hypertext link,
which can be consulted at any time and on every page. On
http://www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk
the process of validating the order by entering
the data required, allows the customer to make
modifications before the final summary and registration.
The final summary restates customer compliance to the
General Conditions. By clicking in the space provided,
the customer automatically transmits the order,
including the General Conditions to Faces and Places
Gifts. This electronic transmission constitutes valid
proof of the customer having accepted the General
Conditions.
After
the order has been transmitted and checked for
availability byhttp://www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk
the customer will receive an acknowledgement of
receipt by e-mail confirming that the order has been
registered as well as the total amount to be paid.
The
sale is only considered final after the customer has
received confirmation of the order, and full payment has
been made, as stipulated in condition 3. In the event of
the goods being sent before full payment is received,
reserves the right to exercise restitution of the goods.

PAYMENTS
All prices on the site www.facesandplacesgifts.co.uk
are quoted in British Pounds and include VAT. The
imposition of VAT and other charges are dependant upon
the circumstances of sale and goods supplied. These are
stated on the acknowledgement of receipt. The cost of
delivery (see article 5) is included in the invoice,
which is determined by the area or region to which the
goods are destined. The sale price of goods are those in
existence at the time of order. Prices are subject to
change due to events beyond the control of Faces and
Places Gifts. Under these conditions, tariffs will be
modified accordingly. VAT and delivery costs will be set
out accordingly. These will also be confirmed on the
acknowledgement of receipt. We accept payment by cheques
in British pounds, made out to Faces and Places Gifts.
If the payment has not arrived at Faces and Places Gifts
within 8 days of us confirming the order, the order will
automatically be cancelled. People ordering from
overseas, should contact us directly, as to place an
order.
4.
REVOCATION
According to the law, the customer has the right to
return the goods within 7 working days. The goods must
be enclosed in their original packaging. The cost of
postage is met by the customer. Refunds will be given at
the discretion of the Company Management. Please make
sure that your photos and images are of good quality
before sending them. Variations in colour may occur due
to the nature and the quality of photographs supplied.
5.
DELIVERY
The majority of our deliveries are carried out by the
Post Office in the UK. If an order is large then we may
choose a specialist service at our discretion. Delivery
starts £2.95 per order. Customers should contact us for
a quote if they wish to send products overseas.
6.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You use the website at your own risk. Information on the
website may contain certain technical or typing errors.
Faces and Places Gifts, nor any person involved in the
development, production or installation of the website,
will be held responsible for any damage (direct or
indirect), accidental or that relating to your access to
our site; in particular, any financial or commercial
harm, loss of programs or data within our information
system, or any other harm. This applies irrespective of
whether Faces and Places Gifts has knowledge that the
damage could arise. Moreover, Faces and Places Gifts
exercises no form of surveillance over websites which
are linked to its own by means of hypertext.
Consequently, Faces and Places Gifts accepts no
responsibility for the content of pages outside its own
website, or for pages linked to its website.
